What it measures
This factor detects a recognized Walmart LinkShare deep-link URL in the page. It is a straightforward presence check: does the rendered body carry a Walmart affiliate deep link built on the LinkShare (Rakuten) tracking network? It says nothing about how many such links exist, only whether at least one is there.

RankGear searches the rendered, script-free page body case-insensitively for HTTP or HTTPS links whose address begins with linksynergy.walmart.com/deeplink. Any single match returns 1; if no such link is present the factor returns 0.

How to optimize it
Treat this as an observation about how a page monetizes Walmart references, not a target to chase for its own sake. Where a Walmart affiliate destination genuinely serves the reader, use LinkShare deep links that are relevant, current, and transparently disclosed. Apply sponsored-relationship markup on the link, and monitor that destinations stay live and in stock. Adding a matching link only makes sense when the commercial recommendation is real — forcing the URL pattern onto pages that do not warrant it adds no value.
