Search Result Has Schema reports whether a page’s live SERP listing shows any supported rich-result signal — a positive price, a positive average rating, non-blank availability, or a positive review count. It returns 1 when at least one of those four parsed fields is present and 0 when all are absent or nonpositive. It reads the rendered search result, not the Schema.org markup on your page, so a page with valid markup can still score 0 when Google chooses not to render a rich result.

What it measures
This factor reports whether any supported rich-result signal is present in the parsed search result: a positive price, a positive average rating, a non-blank availability value, or a positive review count. The display name is broad, but the live test is narrow — it looks at these four rich-result fields as they appear in the SERP, not at every possible kind of structured data.
How RankGear measures it
RankGear reads the four parsed SERP fields below and returns 1 when at least one is populated. It returns 0 only when all four are absent or nonpositive.
| Parsed field | Counts toward 1 when |
|---|---|
| Price | Value is positive |
| Average rating | Value is positive |
| Availability | Value is non-blank |
| Review count | Value is positive |
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 1 | At least one of the four rich-result fields is present in the parsed search result. |
| 0 | All four fields are absent or nonpositive in the parsed search result. |
How to optimize it
Use valid, eligible structured data that accurately represents the visible content of the page, and maintain the underlying product, review, or availability information that feeds it. Treat this factor as an observation of how the search result currently renders rather than a target to chase: because it reads the SERP and not your page, valid markup is a necessary input but never a guarantee that any of these fields will show.
Important considerations
- The display name is broad; the live test covers only four parsed rich-result fields (price, average rating, availability, review count).
- This observes SERP data, not whether the page contains any Schema.org markup.
- Missing provider fields can produce 0 even when the page is well-formed.
- Structured data does not guarantee a rich result, and this factor relates to position within a measured result set — it does not by itself make a page rank.
