This factor counts how many recognized Walmart LinkShare deep-link affiliate URLs appear in a page’s rendered, script-free body — links beginning linksynergy.walmart.com/deeplink. It is an observation of affiliate density, not a target to inflate, and it does not count plain Walmart.com URLs.

What it measures
This factor counts recognized Walmart LinkShare deep-link URLs on the page. These are the affiliate deep links generated through Walmart’s LinkShare (Rakuten) program, distinct from ordinary Walmart.com product links. The result is a simple count of how many such links the rendered body contains.
How RankGear measures it
RankGear counts case-insensitive HTTP or HTTPS occurrences beginning linksynergy.walmart.com/deeplink. Matching is case-insensitive and accepts either protocol, so every deep link that starts with that host-and-path prefix is tallied wherever it appears in the script-free body.
What RankGear looks for
<a href="https://linksynergy.walmart.com/deeplink?id=...&mid=...&murl=...">Buy at Walmart</a>How to optimize it
Keep product links relevant, current, disclosed, and appropriately marked as sponsored. Treat this count as an observation of the page’s affiliate footprint rather than a number to push up: the goal is accurate, useful links that serve the reader, not a higher tally for its own sake.
Important considerations
- Direct Walmart URLs can score 0 — only
linksynergy.walmart.com/deeplinkdeep links are recognized, so plain Walmart.com links contribute nothing to this count. - Repeated references inflate the count: the same deep link cited multiple times is counted each time it appears.
- Availability and prices require monitoring, since affiliate product links can go stale as inventory and pricing change.
- The inherited factor name contains a double space; this is a naming artifact, not a measurement detail.
- Correlation is not causation. This count relates to position within a measured result set as a prioritization signal; it does not make a page rank or guarantee any position.
