What it measures
This factor reports the Facebook share count supplied for the result. It is a per-result social signal describing how many times the URL was shared on Facebook according to the data provided with the run, rather than anything RankGear derives from the page itself.
How RankGear measures it
RankGear reads the corresponding optional integer field on the SearchResult and returns its value. When that field is missing, the factor returns 0. There is no crawling or parsing of the page involved — the number is passed straight through from the external data attached to each result.
