Entities in H6 Tags

Entities in H6 Tags counts how many times your run-supplied entities appear inside a page’s H6 headings. It is an occurrence count, not a unique-entity count, and most pages legitimately score 0 because they use no H6 elements at all.

What it measures

This factor tallies occurrences of your run-supplied entities within the page’s H6 headings. Every H6 in the rendered body is inspected, and each entity match found in that heading text adds to the total. Because it is an occurrence count rather than a distinct count, the same entity appearing in several H6 headings — or more than once in a single one — contributes each time.

How RankGear measures it

RankGear extracts every recognized H6 in the rendered page and sums case-insensitive, word-aware matches for each entity in the run’s entity list. Repeated occurrences all count toward the total. If the entity list is empty, the factor returns 0.

What RankGear looks for

<h6>An entity name inside a sixth-level heading</h6>

How to optimize it

Use an entity in an H6 only when it accurately names the subject of a legitimately deep subsection. H6 is the lowest heading level, so it should appear only where a page’s structure genuinely nests that far. Treat this value as an observation about how far your headings reach, not a target to chase: on most pages the honest score is 0, and that is not a defect.

Important considerations

  • Most pages correctly have no H6 elements, so a score of 0 is normal and expected.
  • The factor counts occurrences rather than unique entities, so repeats inflate the number.
  • Run configuration determines the entity list, so the same page can score differently across runs.
  • Do not create excessive heading depth just to raise this value.
  • This is a correlation-based prioritization signal within a measured result set — it does not by itself cause or guarantee a ranking.
